Description

Ketol is an oral drench used for the treatment of acetonaemia (ketosis) in cattle and pregnancy toxaemia (sleepy sickness) in sheep. Helps elevate blood glucose levels and depress blood ketone levels.

Active constituents: propylene glycol 832g/L, choline chloride 20.6g/L, cobalt (II) sulfate 1.1g/L

Dosage & Administration

For oral use only. Administer as a drench in drinking water or on food.

• Sheep – Pregnancy toxaemia: 125mL daily. Treatment can be given for up to 10 days.
• Cattle – Acetonemia: on days 1 and 2, 250mL morning and evening. On days 3 and 4, reduce to 125mL morning and evening.
