Description

Ceton Drench is for the treatment of pregnancy toxaemia in sheep and acetonaemia (ketosis) in cattle. Ceton contains:

• propylene glycol which is an effective antiketogenic agent;
• chlorine chloride to assist in fatty acid metabolism; and
• cobalt chloride to promote synthesis and utilisation of volatile fatty acids.

Presentation: 5 litres, liquid

Administration: Oral dose as a drench or mixed with feed.

Dosage: Cattle – 200ml twice daily on day 1, and then 100ml daily for 3 days. Sheep – 50ml twice daily.

Withholding Periods: Nil.
