Resichlor Leave-On Lotion aids in the treatment of superficial dermatitis associated with Staphylococcus intermedius in dogs. Leave-on products persist for longer as they are not rinsed off. This prolongs the contact time of chlorhexidine, the active ingredient, and increases the residual activity. This enables the time between shampooing to be extended, and if shampooing compliance is poor, offers an alternative to shampooing. Chlorhexidine is a potent antibacterial agent.
